New Bill Offers $5 Million For Help Capturing ISIS Executioners

U.S. Congressman Paul Gosar has introduced a new bill that promises a $5 million reward to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of the ISIS militants involved in the murders of three American hostages, James Foley, Steven Sotloff and Peter Kassig.

The idea behind the bill is that the reward might encourage ISIS members to provide the U.S. government with useful intel about the extremist group. Gosar, a Republican representative from Arizona, said in a statement:
Without a new war authorization, my bill is the best way to combat these terrorists and corrupt their organization from the inside. Incentivizing any person—whether living in a terrorist cell or being oppressed by one—to turn over critical information will greatly assist the U.S. in bringing these cowards to justice.
Kayla Mueller, who was kidnapped by ISIS terrorists back in 2013, is from Gosar’s district in Arizona. Mueller is believed to be the last American hostage held by ISIS. The group announced last week that Mueller had been killed during Jordan-led airstrikes in Syria, but that hasn’t been confirmed.
