You would be amused any day if ever you happened to hear of a teenager who owns a house. It’s even more interesting when it’s the teen’s own hardwork that brings them into the enviable category of home buyers. Yet this young lady did it, and her story will stun you!
At one point, 14-year-old Willow Tufano decided to try her luck in saving some cash and do something nice for herself, so she started getting her money through the only clever means she could think of a teen. Willow would take some free items offered on craigslist and sell them off. In months, she had saved $6,000. Her parents weren’t so receptive of her money-making ideas at first, but they soon lined up to help when her plan started working.
She wanted a house worth $100,000, but the gods of the house market seemed to look out for her as home prices took a dip. The $100,000 house was now going for $16,000, and Willow couldn’t jump that opportunity. She managed to bargain it down to the $12,000 she had saved, and voila! She was now a home owner!
