CBS Local in Washington released fresh news from the kitchen, saying that company in Virginia has invented a device that will be able to detect distracted drivers
Nearly all States in the USA have allowed drivers to talk to their phones while behind the wheel. What is totally prohibited in all states is texting while driving. So it results to be a difficult task for the police to detect drivers texting while driving.
Because of this, ComSonics of Harrisburg, Virginia decided to intervene. Actually, the company is creating a device which will enable the police to know when someone is using a phone inside a car. This idea was meant for cable repairmen whose work is to detect leaks in cables. The working mechanism of the device is similar to that one of a radar gun. Borrowing the idea, ComSonics, is adding and transforming it so that the police can be able to use it for distracted drivers’ detection.
