Transgender woman James Goebel was caught taking photos of teen girls inside of a woman’s restroom at a Dallas area Target store. One victim, a 13 year old girl, stated that she realized she was being photographed when she heard an iphone camera snapping. She curiously looked under the stall to see the camera phone right in her face. The girl ran out and informed her father, who held the bathroom door shut, trapping Goebel inside until the police arrived.
When they arrived, the searched Goebel’s phone for evidence, and found over 700 photos of young girls in restrooms taken over the course of the last 5 months.
Dallas’s LGBT community is defending Goebel, with the leader of Dallas’s LGBT Aqua Squad, Dorothy Wright, stating that she was “born a pedophile and therefore can not change her sexual orientation. ”
